Coming from a small town myself, I really liked the idea of the smaller classes and our boys truly benefited from the one-on-one attention they were given when they needed it the most. The teachers were very caring and compassionate and really took the time to get to know each of the students. Through school functions and activities, you got to know the other teachers, students and parents and developed a great sense of pride for the school and for being part of one larger family.
I love this school. The teachers here educate with guidance and love, patience and kindness. There was never a time that I did not feel supported, heard, and genuinely cared for as a family in attendance and even on a personal level. My children are better people for having attended St. Michael's school. We were always treated as family there, along with attending Church Services at St. Michael's church in Mahnomen. The children were able to attend St. Michael's through their formative years. Experiences since then make me long to have a place similar to St. Michael's here in Wisconsin, where the children and I have moved. So far I haven't found anything that has been able to measure up. I pray for the Teachers and Staff of St. Michael's School, that their school year goes wonderfully and that the children continue to receive the best care and education that can be offered.
